Today while the boys were napping, I decided to try and get some pictures of Elliot on our bed. The lighting was soft and bright and I mean, she’s pretty cute, so I thought “Why not?”

Her fuzzy little head is probably one of my favorite things. It reminds me of a peach. I rub it all the time which she is not a fan of. But I just tell her that I spent 37 weeks growing that fuzzy little head and then had her cut from my abdomen, so I can rub it all I want. And yet she still doesn’t like it…

Elliot is already a master of mean muggin’ and her poor little doll gets the brunt of it. She does not stand for utter ridiculousness…such as her baby doll looking as her.

Just taking a wild guess here, but I think Elliot may be getting tired of pictures. “Mom. Please. Go take pictures of someone else.”
I hear her brothers waking up so I say “OKAY.”

You know those beautiful pictures of families in the bed together you see on Pinterest? A loving mother and father look at their little brood with such love. A sleepy-eyed newborn snuggles up against the mother’s chest. The toddler ever so lightly touches his new sibling’s face. The lighting is delicious, the faces are smiling, and it’s just so…serene. You imagine their Saturday mornings looking like that.

Well this is what my Saturday’s look like. Welcome to Crazytown, y’all.
