Motherhood seems to always surprise me. Just when I think I am getting the hang of it, something throws me for a loop and I’m scrambling to get my act together again.
RHaving a child with teeth that now need to be cared for was one of those times. Yeah, it seems like a no brainer. But I had never had a child with teeth before so it was allllll new for me. So if you are a new mom and you feel a little overwhelmed with the great selection of tooth-care products out there, here are three that I have tried and stuck with.

1. Baby Banana Infant Training Toothbrush and Teether

I have used this toothbrush with both of my boys. And both of them could not be more different in personality and likes/dislikes, yet they BOTH love this thing. Rhett (my two year old) now uses a regular bristled toothbrush, but Eli (one year old) is still currently using this. He is the pickiest child ever, but loves gnawing on this thing. It’s made completely of a rubber-like material, so I think it helps soothe his teething gums.
I got mine on Amazon.
2. Jack N’ Jill Natural Toothpaste

As toddlers are learning to brush their teeth (or have them brushed) they tend to swallow a lot more toothpaste than we do. So I didn’t want all of the nastiness of my toothpaste going into their little bodies. So I ordered this natural toothpaste that is organic and free of preservatives and fluoride.
Plus it smells and tastes delicious, so it helped my kids to love having a toothbrush in their mouths more. This toothpaste is a win-win in my book.
I also got this on Amazon.
3. Hyland’s Baby Teething Tablets

Now I know this product isn’t necessarily a tooth CARE product, but it makes the whole process of them getting their teeth more bearable. I swear by these things!
I have literally seen my boys’ moods change when I pop three of these in their mouths. The dissolve on their tongue and start to work quickly.
When I had my first baby I was already in dread of teething because so many moms tell you horror stories! Maybe my expectations were WAY out of proportion, but it was not the life scarring thing I was expecting it to be. It wasn’t fun by any means, and one year and two year molars almost broke my spirit, but with the help of Jesus and bottles and bottle of these bad boys, I’M A SURVIVOR. (ha. Now I’m passing on the torch of terror to you. You’re welcome.)
These you can also get on Amazon. (Can I get a WUT WUT for Amazon Prime shipping?!)
