Greedy. The word just sounds gross.
When greed is mentioned, images that pop into my head are people like Mr. Potter, from Its a Wonderful Life, kicking poor families out of their homes and laughing at George Bailey’s misfortune. Another image could be a mafia boss who viciously murders to “keep da money in da family.” Or my husband whenever we play Monopoly…
